Tired of Dying?

Well so was The Captain, so one day he Unlocked Carbine, and noticed he had 2 exceptionally good dash on a long Cooldown and thus the theorycrafting began.

Carbine is Futuristic Bounty hunter with a cowboy accent and a 3 shot revolver

The Build

%XT3 Heavy Blaster - THIS gun is HOT doo doo baby. But rest assured the Captain has got you covered. It fires 3 shots, with the 1st shot doing slightly more damage than the final 2. It's not awesome. But lean in i'll let you in on a secret.

Carbine can consistently PROC @Burning Palm (5% max health damage) with his LMB primary attacks from %XT3 Heavy Blaster after dashing with %Thrusters/Jetpack .
- "Why?" - Because even though @Burning Palm ONLY procs with abilities, the game counts the slow passive effect (shown by a pink ring around the gun) Carbine gets on his first blaster shot after every dash/use of %Thrusters/Jetpack !!
  - THIS means, that if you were to hit someone regardless of their HP twice with your gun will have taken away 10% of their HP bar regardless ofbig it is. *CARBINE IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY HERO THAT CAN ABUSE @Burning Palm THIS WAY.

%Thrusters/Jetpack - This Dash has 2 charges & can go very far. but only on its Air dash can it Leap over walls with ease. It is IMPORTANT to not cancel the AIR DASH with your glider, because the air dash is actually a jetpack activation that stays active and keeps carbine in the air.

Carbine can Shoot freely while this Air dash flight is active (think of it like a glider but you can shoot while gliding)

The Dash gives Carbine a %Slow effect on his first primary attack against an enemy

@Burning Palm Is proc'd due to this slow effect on every dash.
The ground version will not go over walls. so be sure to pay attention to which dash you are using when escaping!
- *TIP * Hitting a wall right before the end of the AIR dash will prolong its duration and lift you higher over or up a wall. good for stalling the cooldown further while escaping.

@Resonating Idol - This item is your "Pilots License."

Essentially this item reduces the cooldown of the same ability per stack (max 10 stacks), but if you use a different ability, you lose all the stacks and your cooldown goes back to normal

We will be using this item to Spam/stack %Thrusters/Jetpack until it gets to 10 stacks (shown on the right of your screen). to Achieve infinite flight-time.
Ensure you do not use any other ability, (unless you absolutely need to), as you will lose the insane cooldown reduction this item gives
Level 2 of this item means you can now use -> ONE <- other skill constantly while dashing.
- %Shocktrap Drone if you choose to spam this and dash, you are playing Control support
- %Percussive Burst if you choose to spam this and dash, you are playing more Peel/assassin
Level 3 of this item is Quality of Life, as you no longer need to worry about your Mana.

@Burning Palm - We went over this already, but if you're reading this item by item, I'll say it again.

Every 1st Primary attack will proc it after dashing.
it's where all your damage will come from.
Carbine is the only character that can consistently proc this item with auto attacks.
It makes Carbines gun more than just a big stapler.
Don't worry about hitting every 1st shot, you're going to be spamming LMB 99.9% of the time.

@Rabbit Paw - Reduces your Dash Cooldown, gives movement speed

More of a meme to just never need to touch the floor, as dead bodies are down there (ew)
With this item endgame you'll more than likely never be caught by anyone
VERY GOOD at getting through open space if you're fearful of being spiked.
VERY GOOD at pissing off any one dumb enough to think they had you cornered
- Can also be swapped with a DPS mythic of your choosing competively, you have more than enough CDR to fly around consistently Good choices @Harmonic Edge for the burst damage or @Masamune , obviously as this is always good on everyone.

@Amplified Mana - mana good

@Dash Engine - This Perk alone makes you Never need mana again. ( It refunds 75% of mana cost from dashes).

@Grace - More Dash Haste ( Not mandatory)

@Harmonic Edge - for the burst damage if you want to swap @Rumel's Hoverwinger for it

-@Ardent Songbow - Lowers Cooldown of Dash when LMB hits with it, and you trust your aim enough. you'll get great value out of it. swap with @Rumel's Hoverwinger.

@Vive Infusor - instead of @Rumel's Hoverwinger for Dash heals/Survivability.

@Mecha Boosters - Activating your glider after a Dash will send you to the moon.

Will Drastically Reduce your Ability to spam dashes back to back.

Good option if you're trying to just leave the fight, area, or entire lobby.

Gameplay

You're very literally doing Rapid strafing runs.

try to spread the @Burning Palm procs on multiple enemies, as it can only be reapplied, not stacked.

Find Your Flank
Wait for team to engage. or Engage yourself seeing as you are very hard to hit
%Thrusters/Jetpack -> %XT3 Heavy Blaster x4 -> %Thrusters/Jetpack -> %XT3 Heavy Blaster x4 ....Do that till something dies, or someone decides you cant anymore.
BULLY, BULLY, BULLY - You are HARD to track, and even harder to lock down.
Look to Help your teammates with 1v1s, you're not just an assassin you're a scout that can easily jump from fight to fight. you should always be looking to turn any 1v1 into a brief 2v1.
If you can Secure a kill, then dont be afraid to drop the Resonance stacks and Pull out your ultimate %Overkill Rounds
If you need to, you always have %Percussive Burst as a peel/stun option to save your teammates or yourself.

[Without any Dash haste perks, you should still have only about a 0.8~ second of groundtime before you can use a dash again.. make sure youre using the full duration of the jetpack flight.]
