Hi it's GPA, I'm a Zeph EU main who play him since September 2024 and I’m still active on the competitive scene.
So here’s the build I suggest for competitive play (BUT ALSO VIABLE IN NORMAL GAMES IF YOU WANT TO FULL SUPP), a build focused on peeling by making heavy use of Zeph’s %Mending Breeze . Here are several key points to keep in mind:

First of all, you need to have %Mending Breezelvl 3 to get 3 charges and bonus healing ( you get it at lvl 5 ) . After this you rush for %Vortex Charm lvl 4 since it's the best lvl 4 on Zeph by far.
Remember that in Custom everything is locked at 2 stars, which explains my choice not to pick items that only become really strong with their level 3 passives.
You also need to be aware of the gold shortage: with 2 rare relics like @Paladin's Primer and @Duality you’re already full build for only 2500 gold ( without boots but we will talk about it later ) , which allows you to play around the forge much earlier compared to others since many champions in the meta need gear with epic/legendary relics.

I chose these relics for their peel value and cost, but only @Paladin's Primer is a must-have with this meta and his utility. @Duality can be swapped out for different items, but I’ll explain my reasoning :
- So you can go either @Airblaster or @Stasis Shard to give you more self peeling if you're in danger. I prefer @Airblaster since the CD is lower ( 20 sec over 30 at lvl 2 ) but don't forget with this patch the item can't counter KP hook since he will be in your back.
- You can still build CDR but I think it's meh, if you find an @Isochron's Timestaff lvl 3 in a vault yeah take it but else it's 1500golds for ≈14% cdr so it's like buying old @Glove of Haste for 1500 golds ?? And overall I used to have a preference for @Ardent Songbow but with the lastest patch in 1.03 it doesnt give you less cd on %Cyclone Dash so not worth it imo.
- @Guardian Angel @Resonating Idol and @Grabby the Squid can still be good some options but they all get nerfed and these last two need to change your gameplay , especially for @Resonating Idol .
- So I go @Duality because the item cost 750g , you gain value of it pretty easily , it help you to have some damage since you don't build any damage item ( except feytech ) and MOSTLY because majority of the other items help you to make your like easier but it doesn't help your team. If I want to peel my team I want to do it at 100%. Most of the time if I need @Airblaster it’s just to let me think less and give myself a bigger margin for error but usually it's because I mispositioned or could’ve simply dodged with WASD or reacted in time.

If we talk about Grips :
- Since CDR gets a huge nerf @Chrono Gauge lost a lot of value whereas @Bubble Frog gain some, especially with this %Mending Breeze build.
- @Feytech Claw is still a must have , it give you outbound healing + bonus Damage on %Vortex Charm , %Second Wind AND ON EACH %Windslinger yeah yeah fr. Because every %Windslinger proc the %Gale Force and this passive deals Ability Damage.
- You can play some others grips like @Rabbit Paw or @Greenwood Grasp or @Gorger Talons but IMO if you want to peel you goes full peeling so you can't take others options to facilitate your life , you need to care more.

Then we have boots, i go @Rocket High-Tops because I really like the value of dash speed, particularly since I build nothing for me and everything for my mates. But @Feystriders are really goods too and cost a bit less. DO NOT GO @Recon Runners if you know how to bhop since each %Windslinger make you out of combat xddd.
And for the end, perks :
- You need to rush for @Dash Engine , you will consume a lot of mana since sadly Mindblade my beloved doesn't exist anymore. Then @Heal Booster is really really good for your healing build. After this it's the usual goated perks in tournaments like @Oracle Immunity and @Protofactory .
- If you have still some money , buy @Amplified Haste since it's give 5% so nearly like the grisp. @Swiftness is pretty good too. You also can buy @Relic Accelerator if you use @Airblaster or any item with an active effect to get value this + your @Paladin's Primer .

I’d like to wrap up by giving some situational tips.

This build gains more value if one of your teammates picks up @Titanic Bond since it increases the healing your ally receives. The same goes for the @Heal Receptor perk which your teammates really need to buy.

You are very mana dependent so you should always carry a stack of #Vive Brew . They’re easier to buy early since you’re not investing money in very expensive items. But in very early fight before you get the chance to buy you need to reeeeeally care of your mana especially if you heal since it cost a lot.

Always use your %Second Wind to burst someone down if the opportunity presents itself ; you don’t have to save it ONLY for healing. It’s a very versatile ult with a lot of possibilities, so be creative with it (heal, burst, anti-dive, anti-CC, wisp revive, etc.).
