@Ragesteel Gauntlet 's attack speed debuff doesn't really matter for Shiv, since she usually combos her lmb with her empowered lmb anyway. For grips, you can also substitute @Longclaw Optics for @Burning Palm or @Frozen Palm . You want the range to increase your range for engagement and consistency though. They are really only replaceable because a lot of the meta is shorter range than Shiv right now (Brall/Jin/Wukong/KP, etc.)

For Relics, I recommend 1 damage focused relic and 1 survivability focused relic, but you can get away with 2 damage relics or 2 survivability relics in niche scenarios
(If your team follows up on your dives super well, or rely on you to be their main engage, it might be worth it to take 2 survivability relics, for example. Or if you are the team's hypercarry, and they rely on you to deal all of the damage, 2 damage relics might be better. Depends on team comp, basically. But 1 dps and 1 sustain won't fail you as a bread and butter.)
@Refractor is good to supplement Shiv's AoE damage, and it also provides a free lmb damage buff.
@Vive Infusor can be replaced by @Last Bite , but I've also seen @Festering Jawblade be used well in this slot and @Essence Reaper , if given enough time to stack up.

@Bloodlust Boots and @Rocket High-Tops are both really good boots on her, up to preference. Try both, see what you like. I prefer @Bloodlust Boots .

For perks, @Armor Shredder is best-in-slot, but everything else is about sustain and survivability. I like @Shield Generator and @Heal Receptor most.

For ability upgrades, I prefer dagger level 4. It is good against melees who can out-speed you, and it helps you in niche outplay situations if you know how to play around it. I recommend it for higher skill Shiv players to get used to for the higher skill ceiling. Otherwise, RMB max or Dash max is fine.

Then, finally, for exotics. We all should know that @Dragonbreath Rounds and @The Soul Stealer are great for Shiv, they boost her damage and fit her identity, but @Mecha Boosters are also really strong on Shiv with certain playstyles revolving around her dagger. If you throw dagger towards your allies, and then boost towards enemies way ahead, you can play a risk-free style of Shiv that gets tremendous value for your team. This style itself is already very strong without @Mecha Boosters too, give it a try.

I'll try to update this guide as more people unlock level 2 relics, then level 3 relics, but some other quick notes are:
@Resonating Idol level 2 will likely be very strong on Shiv.
@Last Bite level 2 and @Vive Infusor level 2 together will provide insane survivability for Shiv (especially if a teammate can cleanse antiheal for you).
@Ultimate Diadem at level 2 or 3 is currently overpowered due to unique interactions with Shiv's empowered LMB, expect this to get nerfed or removed.
If it is your preference, @Harmonic Edge can be good, I just don't like it for consistency.
